Partnering for Growth

This year’s Growth Capital Forum will explore the theme Partnering for Growth.

Growth Capital Forum 2020 invites you to contribute to discussions with some of the sector’s key figures.

Topics will include:

  • How can venture capital and growth capital firms cooperate for mutual benefit?
  • How will direct investing by institutional investors affect the space?
  • What is the role of high net-worth individual investors in growth-capital?
  • How disruptive technologies are driving returns for entrepreneurs and investors.
  • What impact will socially-responsible investing have on the sector?

Attend the Forum for a window on the future of Growth Capital! The Forum will canvas economic, technical, overseas and demographic trends to keep in mind for the future. Over a full-day, the program will call on the expertise and experience of investors and entrepreneurs who will candidly share their experiences through presentations, panel sessions and fireside chats.

Growth Capital Forum 2020 will include frank discussions, exploring the relationship between investor and entrepreneur: How is alignment achieved? How are decisions best made? How to have the difficult conversations that need to be had?

Hosted by Private Equity Media, this event offers unique opportunities for sector knowledge sharing, networking and deal flow generation.

  • How best to navigate the difficult conversations investors need to have with the founders they partner with?
  • Are venture firms seeing growth capital firms as an opportunity to exit their investments – and if not, why not?
  • How to balance risk and governance while being nimble to embrace opportunities?
  • What are the viable funding options for scaling companies? How does growth capital stack up against venture capital or IPOs?
  • What are the desirable characteristics in a good manager?
  • What ingredients make the perfect growth capital partnership and how to make that cake again – and again?!!
  • How best to navigate the dynamics of minority investing?
  • What and where are the exit opportunities and how to plan for them?
  • How do investment horizons affect the opportunities of growth capital firms, venture capital firms, family offices and individual investors?
